Crochet for NICU

posted Feb 13, 2018, 8:54 AM by Katie O'Neal

A huge thank you to Mercantile Banking on Youth grant and all those who have donated crochet hooks and yarn to our service project!  To date, the crocheters at St. Dominic have donated twenty blankets to the NICU at Cardinal Glennon in St. Louis, Missouri.  We are still making blankets and hats to keep tiny new lives warm and show God's love.

Thank you Mercantile Bank for the Banking on Youth Grant.  Our seventh and eighth graders are learning how to crochet.  Some of us even starting on our blankets to donate to the NICU.  I am so proud of all of our students and their efforts to make a difference in the lives of others.
