QCES Curriculum Mapping Update:

In February, the teachers from Blessed Sacrament, St. Dominic, St. Francis, and St. Peter continued working on their science curriculum maps.  The 3rd, 4th and 5th grade teachers met in grade level groups to add details to their maps.  The maps contain seven components: standards, essential questions, content, skills, assessment, resources, and technology.  Below you will find information explaining content and skills.


Content:  key concepts, targeted facts, and core content.


Skills:  what students need to know or be able to do in order to demonstrate mastery or understanding of the content.
