SEEKING SPONSORS OR DONORS FOR 6TH GRADE BUS TRIP TO JA BIZTOWN:

posted Mar 18, 2019, 6:13 AM by Gary Clayton

This year, our 6th grade class is participating in an amazing Junior Achievement program called JA BizTown.

JA BizTown encompasses important elements of community and economy, work readiness, financial literacy, and business management.  As part of this Junior Achievement program, they will spend the day at the JA BizTown site in Chesterfield, Missouri on Wednesday, April 3rd.  This on-site visit will provide the students with an opportunity to apply what they have learned in a realistic setting.  Each student will assume a job, produce and/or sell products, receive a paycheck, work on a business team, repay business loans, shop, and manage a personal bank account.  It is sure to be a great experience!

The class will be traveling to Chesterfield by bus with the 6th grades from Blessed Sacrament, St. Peter, and St. Francis Schools. Our portion of the cost is $874.02, which includes $559.02 for the bus and $315.00 for the student fees to attend.  We are seeking sponsors or donations to help us pay for the bus.  If anyone would like to help sponsor the trip or give a donation toward the cost of the busing, please contact Tera Smith, the 6th grade teacher, or Sue Kelley, principal. Thank you!
