Our school utilizes the buddy system to build a sense of security and belonging through relationships and encouragement. For this purpose, two buddy classrooms are paired up to work on various projects together as well as play games and read with each other throughout the year. The student buddy system is comprised of the following classes that have been paired together: Preschool and 4th Grade, Kindergarten and 8th Grade, 1st Grade and 6th Grade, 2nd Grade and 5th Grade, and 3rd Grade and 7th Grade.
