4th graders are so excited to see the Round Barn and learn more about life in the past.

The first graders released a beautiful female monarch butterfly this afternoon! We named her DJ Josie Rose Sunshine! 🦋☀️
Today is the feast day of St. Joseph of Cupertino which is where the name Josie came from! Saint Joseph of Cupertino was known to levitate at times of deep prayer. We think it's pretty amazing that our butterfly emerged from her chrysalis today on this special feast day! 😍😍
St. Joseph of Cupertino, pray for us.

Thanks to the Community Foundation for hands on visual arts lessons with Ms. Becky. We used our Bible verse to meditate on what is lovely and use wet on wet watercolor techniques.

Join us for our St. Dominic Family Fun Night at Scottie's Fun Spot tomorrow night!

STEM fun in science class today modeling the formation of clouds and fog!

Ag in the Classroom is back for K-4th graders today!

The first grade and sixth grade buddies got together today to get to know each other! The sixth graders were wonderful role models for the first graders and they had a great time together! We are very excited to spend more time together this school year! ❤️❤️

Our preschoolers and their 4th grade buddies got to work on a craft together today! We talked about growing together in God's love ❤️

Please join us in celebrating Hilda’s life and remembering her service at St. Dominic School as our crossing guard.

Thank you Mr. Snyder for visiting us to teach us about frontier life in Illinois.

All are encouraged to attend and participate in the sharing sessions discussing the future of our Catholic schools. Please join us!

We are deeply saddened to hear of Hilda’s passing. Hilda served as crossing guard at St. Dominic School for about 25 years so we have many families who remember her sweet nature, friendly wave, and how she safely helped our kids cross the street-- along with a smile and a sucker. She also had dog treats for our furry friends! Hilda loved providing her service for our children and families. May she rest in peace as a good and faithful servant of God! https://www.odonnellcookson.com/obituaries/Hilda-Elizabeth-Spidle?obId=32988446#/obituaryInfo
