Catholic schools week, dinosaurs and 100th day of preschool, Oh MY!!! We have had a fun and busy week. We started off the week seeing community hero's, learning how to be paleontologist and dressing up as dinosaurs. We ended the week attending our first candlemas, which we did amazing at and Ms Crystal was so proud of us! Thank you to our fourth grade buddies for sitting with us! We had our 100th day bubble party and reached a goal of collecting 100 can goods by our 100th day of school! (One more day left on Monday) we did a science experiment Ms Crystal threw hot water and watched it turn to snow in cold air. We did some fun 100 day activities and ended the day with watching the 8th graders play volleyball against the teachers. It was a roaring good time!
It's the 100th day of school! We have been having a BLAST! 💥 What an awesome and FUN week we have been having during Catholic Schools Week! We are ALSO 100 days smarter! ❤️❤️

Ms. Crystal and Ms. Deana's preschoolers had a great week learning about snow and winter. We practiced cutting and learned how to make snowflakes. We used watercolors in a different way to paint salt winter pictures. We drew snowman and picked buttons out of shaving cream and also mixed shaving cream and glue to make puffy paint and painted winter pictures. We used toothpicks and marshmallows to create our own houses like igloos in a STEM activity.Story time included 3 stories with props which they enjoyed taking turns to come up and help act out the story with. It was a great week!
Kindergarten students learned about the parable of yeast while baking bread today. With the help of our own school cook, Mrs. Leonard, the lesson was a success! Our bread was delicious!

What a fabulous night of Bingo and books! Seeing everyone go home with new books (or boxes of books!) is always one of our favorite parts of the year.
Thank you to all of our volunteers who made this night possible! We are blessed with many hard working families and students at our school. Students jump right in to help and last night was no exception. We are very proud of them for seeing a need and filling the need- a lifelong skill to volunteer their time and talents. ⭐️ We had so many book donations and yummy treat donations, too!
