Today first grade finished a class book that we have been writing together! I sent off all of our final pages to be published into a real book! 📖📖🙂🙂 We are so excited about our book, and to top it off we had a real live author (Ron Kinsherf) come into our classroom and read to us. He told us how he creates ideas for books and how he writes his books! Each child even received an autographed copy of a book written by him (compliments of Quincy Recycle)! ♻️♻️ Thanks, Ron!! 😀😀

Read Across America week has been VERY magical with these 1st graders! Reading is always fun, but when you're reading in the dark with blankets, stuffies, and a friend, it's SUPER AMAZING! 📙📙💖💖❤️❤️😎😎📖📖👍👍
